TRAINING FOR YUVA SAANJH PROGRAMME, PUNJAB POLICE
In collaboration with the Special DGP, Sh Gurpreet Kaur Deo-IPS, Community Affairs Division, Punjab Police, this project aims to facilitate the development and implementation of a statewide Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the ongoing Yuva Saanjh Project to mainstream disoriented youth.
Impact
The initiative focuses on developing and imparting training for the police officials towards a structured behavioural assessment, counselling support, training and employment-oriented interventions for the vulnerable youth in Punjab. This shall support the youth in reintegrating positively into society and enable them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
SUPPORTING DISABILITY
Hartek Foundation provides artificial limbs and mobility support to persons with disabilities, removing physical and systemic barriers to independence. The initiative promotes socio-economic reintegration by fostering equal opportunity and inclusion.
Impact
Over 50 individuals have received artificial limbs, restoring mobility, independence, and the ability to fully participate in social and professional life.
ADAPT FELLOWSHIP, DC OFFICE
In collaboration with Sh. Ashika Jain (IAS) DC Hoshiarpur and the Indian Red Cross Society, the ADAPT Fellowship (Applied Data and Policy Transformation) was launched that aims to strengthen local governance through data-driven policy. Fellows have been appointed and placed with the DC Office.
Impact
The initiative has equipped district officials with practical data-driven tools, to enhance district-level decision-making and transparency of governance while enabling evidence-based policy decisions.
SAAHAS FELLOWSHIP, TRAFFIC & ROAD SAFETY, PUNJAB POLICE
In partnership with the Punjab Police (Traffic & Road Safety), the SAAHAS Fellowship (Safe Access and Advancement for Her through Awareness and Sustainability) was launched with a focus on creating gender-responsive transport infrastructure that ensures safe, inclusive mobility for women and marginalized communities. Th fellow has been appointed and placed with the Punjab Road Safety and Traffic Research Centre (PRSTRC).
Impact
The initiative aims to provide data-driven and evidence-based policy recommendation to provide enhanced safe mobility, increased awareness on inclusive transport, and empowered thousands of commuters across Punjab to travel with confidence and security.
HARTEK SKILL LAB
Hartek Skill Lab- STEM learning- In partnership with the Punjab Education Department and STEM Learning, the project has established a Mini-Science Center in government schools (Punjab) to promote experiential learning for STEM education, innovation, and future-ready skills among students.
Hartek Skill Lab- Self-Help Groups (SHGs)- In partnership with the Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission (PSRLM), the project established a Sewing Training Center in a village in Punjab, to cater to and empower rural women through skill development and financial inclusion.
Hartek Skill Lab- Deaddiction and Rehab Patients:- Hartek Foundation successfully completed a project to empower individuals affected by drug addiction by providing skill development workshops, vocational training, and livelihood-oriented activities.
Impact
These initiatives have positively benefited over 3,000 individuals, fostering education, employable skills, financial independence, and long-term social and economic empowerment across Punjab.
MAINSTREAMING OF WOMEN POLICE, PUNJAB POLICE
In partnership with the Community Affairs Division, Punjab Police and Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), this project aims to strengthen gender-sensitive policing through state-wide trainings at the police station level. These trainings focused on policing with equity, and relevant laws related to women and vulnerable groups.
Impact
This initiative focuses on capacity building of police officials through training of 150 Master Trainers including women police officers, in all 28 districts. And further training of 2000 police personnel with an aim of Mainstreaming women police officials.
PUNJAB FLOOD RELIEF, 2025
Hartek Foundation launched a proactive humanitarian mission during Punjab’s severe flood crises in 2025, providing immediate relief and long-term support to affected families along with first aid and disaster management training. In collaboration with Global Sikhs and Gurdaspur administration, reconstructed homes will be equipped with electrical systems to provide sustainable support.
Impact
The initiative has positively impacted over 5,000 beneficiaries, providing relief, reconstructing homes with electrical installations, offering disaster-response training, and strengthening long-term community resilience across Punjab.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Our integrated Rural Development initiatives aim to improve quality of life in underserved rural communities through access to healthcare, education, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and inclusive community spaces. The projects focus on creating long-term and sustainable impact by strengthening essential services and empowering communities through multiple collaborations with the Village Panchayat, MNGREGA, Vision Spring, Department of Forest etc.
Impact
Over the last five years, these initiatives have positively impacted 38,384 beneficiaries, contributing to healthier communities, improved infrastructure, environmental stewardship, and inclusive development.
