MOU with FPAI
Hartek Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Mohali Branch, to jointly implement community health and awareness initiatives across Punjab. The partnership aims to reach over 8,500 beneficiaries annually through health camps, menstrual hygiene awareness, anemia prevention and screening, reproductive health education, and community outreach programmes. This strategic partnership strengthens access to preventive healthcare and health education, particularly for women, adolescents, and underserved communities. By promoting health awareness and early intervention, the initiative helps build resilient communities
Awareness Sessions for Women and Girls
Hartek Foundation, in partnership with the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), S.A.S. Nagar, conducted series of awareness programmes along with health camps in rural areas of Rupnagar and S.A.S. Nagar, reaching women and adolescent girls with essential healthcare services. The initiative offered comprehensive health screenings, medical consultations, counselling, menstrual hygiene and reproductive health education, cervical cancer awareness, and the distribution of Dignity Kits, fostering improved health awareness and access to preventive care. The initiative addresses critical healthcare disparities by bringing quality preventive healthcare and health education directly to underserved communities
Community Health Camps
In collaboration with the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Mohali Branch, Hartek Foundation organized community health camps across rural areas of District S.A.S. Nagar, benefitting community members by delivering essential primary healthcare services to underserved communities. The camps included general health check-ups, nutritional deficiency screenings, medical consultations, health awareness sessions, and the distribution of essential medicines. This initiative addresses critical healthcare gaps in rural areas by promoting early detection of health conditions, including anemia and nutritional deficiencies, while significantly improving access to preventive healthcare services.
Community Health Outreach
Strengthening access to primary healthcare at the grassroots level, the initiative reached underserved communities across Rural areas of District SAS Nagar Mohali through the successful organization of community health camps benefiting community members. The camps focused on addressing immediate medical needs by providing general health check-ups, screening for iron and vitamin deficiencies, and distribution of essential medicines to ensure timely healthcare support for rural residents.
World Breast Cancer Awareness Week
Advancing the mission of preventive healthcare and early cancer detection, Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, organized an Awareness Session and Cancer Screening Camp at Khizrabad Village, SAS Nagar. The initiative focused on spreading awareness about breast, cervical, and oral cancers among rural women while encouraging timely screening and early medical intervention.
With participation from over 80 community members, the program included interactive awareness sessions, on-site cancer screenings, and personalized counseling support by the medical team from Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, strengthening access to critical healthcare services at the grassroots level.
Women’s Health Camp Promotes Cancer Screening and Breastfeeding Awareness
Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and the Punjab Forest Department, organized a Women’s Health Camp in Village Jayanti during World Breastfeeding Awareness Week. Women received free breast, cervical, and oral cancer screenings, along with awareness on self-examination, early detection, and breastfeeding. This initiative aims to strengthen maternal health, empower rural women, and ensure every child’s right to a healthy start through preventive healthcare and community engagement.
World Blood Donor Day
Reinforcing its commitment towards strengthening emergency healthcare support, Hartek Foundation organized a blood donation drive at its Mohali headquarters. The collected blood was donated to Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Centre, Chandigarh to support critical surgeries and emergency medical requirements, reflecting the Foundation’s continued efforts to contribute towards life-saving healthcare initiatives through regular blood donation drives.
World Health Day
Marking World Health Day with a commitment towards accessible and preventive healthcare, Hartek Foundation organized a health camp in collaboration with Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Gram Panchayat of Village Daun for SHG members and their families. Supported by Gracian Hospital by Park Hospitals, the camp offered specialist consultations along with free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, height, weight, and hypertension checks. The initiative reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare and the Foundation’s commitment towards community well-being.
The initiative also played a vital role in spreading awareness about preventive healthcare practices and encouraging communities to prioritize their overall well-being.
Blood Donation Drive
Reinforcing its commitment towards life-saving healthcare support, Hartek Foundation organized a blood donation drive in Mohali in support of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Centre, Chandigarh. The initiative aimed to strengthen emergency medical readiness by ensuring the availability of blood for critical healthcare needs, while also fostering a spirit of community solidarity, compassion, and voluntary service towards public health.
World Mental Health Day
Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with the Drug De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, commemorated World Mental Health Day under the theme “Prioritizing Mental Health in the Workplace.” The initiative aimed to promote healthier and more supportive work environments, particularly for individuals recovering from addiction and mental health challenges.
The program included awareness sessions on mental well-being and workplace support systems, while patients also shared their motivational recovery journeys and personal experiences, inspiring hope and encouraging greater awareness around mental health care
World Blood Donor Day
A blood donation drive organized by The Hartek Foundation in collaboration with (YGPT) to Commemorate ‘World Blood Donor Day’ at Hartek Head Office Mohali. Life Saving Contribution a total of 75 individuals donated blood during the drive. All collected units were donated to Parvati Blood Bank in Amritsar.
Health Checkup and Women Wellness Awareness Camps
Strengthening preventive healthcare access in rural communities, Hartek Foundation organized healthcare and awareness camps in Villages Daun and Raipur with a focus on women’s health and well-being. The camps included mammography, bone density screening, vitals check-ups, and general health consultations, along with awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and early disease detection. Calcium medicines were also distributed to individuals identified with weak bone density, promoting timely healthcare intervention and healthier lifestyle practices.
Health Infrastructure Strengthening
To strengthen local healthcare facilities, Hartek Foundation have constructed a new room at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Bakarpur, aimed at improving infrastructure and supporting better care for the community.
This development directly impacts the lives of the villagers by increasing their access to essential healthcare services, reducing waiting times, and fostering a more comfortable environment for patients. By addressing the infrastructural gaps in the PHC, Hartek Foundation is contributing to the well-being of the community, ensuring that quality healthcare is available to everyone, especially the underserved and vulnerable sections of society.
Mammography and Bone density camp
Hartek Foundation organized a Women’s Health Checkup and Awareness Camp in Raipur village with the objective of promoting better health and well-being among women in the community. The initiative focused on addressing key health concerns faced by women, especially in rural areas where access to quality healthcare services remains limited. The camp included mammography screenings, bone density tests, general health checkups, and awareness sessions on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and early detection of diseases to encourage healthier lifestyles among women.
Responding with Resilience: Hartek Foundation’s Covid-19 Relief Initiatives
With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, lakhs of families across the country were severely affected due to limited access to healthcare, food, and other essential resources. During the challenging second and third waves of the virus, Hartek Foundation undertook multiple relief initiatives across the Tricity region to support vulnerable communities and frontline needs.
As the nation grappled with oxygen shortages, rising fatalities, overwhelmed healthcare systems, and widespread uncertainty, the Foundation responded with timely humanitarian support, positively impacting over 4,000 individuals through various interventions.

Mammography and Bone density camp in Raipur village
In collaboration with Amrit Cancer Foundation, health camp was arranged and screening was done for more than 43 women from raipur and neighbouring village. A follow-up visit was made to distribute the reports and calcium tablets to those who got their bone density scans
