Hartek Foundation celebrated International Youth Day in collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Chandigarh, and the Community Affairs Division, Punjab Police, bringing together the energy, enthusiasm, and creativity of 450+ students from NSS and Student Police Cadets of government schools across S.A.S. Nagar and neighbouring districts, with participation spanning Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.
The celebration featured a vibrant Poster-Making Competition, showcasing the creativity and vision of young minds; a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) spreading awareness about the Swachhata Abhiyan; and an inspiring Yoga Demonstration led by the students themselves, promoting health, fitness, and holistic well-being.












The Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with the Punjab Police (Community Affairs Division) and the Red Cross Society, Mohali, conducted a First Aid and Disaster Management training for Student Police Cadets at GHS Nagal Salempur. Through hands-on practical sessions, students learned life-saving skills including CPR, fracture management, and emergency response, empowering them to act confidently during accidents and disasters.








In a significant move to bolster local sustainability, the Hartek Foundation commemorated World Environmental Health Day at the School of Eminence, Bakarpur. The Foundation fortified the school’s infrastructure by installing new water tanks, ensuring a consistent supply of clean water for students while supporting long-term resource management.
The initiative, held in partnership with the Green Planet Society, also featured a vibrant plantation drive and an educational awareness session. Guest speaker inspired the students to become environmental stewards by reducing single-use plastics and taking personal responsibility for nurturing young saplings. By combining essential infrastructure with ecological education, the Hartek Foundation continues to strengthen local biodiversity and instill a lasting sense of environmental duty in the next generation.




In a vibrant collaboration with the Community Affairs Division of Punjab Police, the Hartek Foundation marked International Youth Day by engaging Student Police Cadets at Lawrence Public School, Mohali. The highlight of the celebration was a creative painting competition themed “Innovation with Imagination,” where students from classes 8th and 9th translated their visionary ideas into art. Throughout the event, distinguished speakers delivered inspiring messages on the power of determination and originality, urging the youth to lead with purpose. By recognizing top talent with awards and fostering a spirit of hard work, the initiative left students motivated to harness their creativity in shaping a brighter, more innovative future.




In observance of World Population Day, the Hartek Foundation conducted a vital awareness session on the POCSO Act at Government Senior Secondary School, Bakarpur. Facilitated by child safety expert, the program empowered adolescents with essential knowledge on body autonomy, personal boundaries, and the importance of consent. By addressing the nuances of child protection and sexual abuse prevention, the Foundation took a proactive step in fostering a safer, more informed environment for the local youth.




On World Social Work Day, Hartek Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to mental health awareness and emotional well-being by organizing a one-day workshop in collaboration with Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, the Centre for Social Work, and Community Affairs Division, Punjab Police. Designed to bridge the gap in mental health awareness, the initiative equipped participants—including students, community members, and police personnel—with essential stress management tools and emotional well-being techniques. The workshop focused on identifying common stressors, practicing stress-relief exercises like mindfulness and deep breathing, and adopting healthy lifestyle choices to maintain emotional balance. Participants also learned to recognize early signs of emotional distress, build resilience through meditation and journaling, and strengthen community-based peer support systems. Through this initiative, Hartek Foundation continues to foster a culture of mental wellness, empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to navigate life’s challenges effectively.








On the occasion of Children’s Day, Hartek Foundation organized a leadership training session for students of School of Eminence, Bakarpur. The session was conducted by Mr. Jassi Kahlon, who engaged students through interactive activities and experiential learning focused on leadership, communication, and teamwork. The event also celebrated student achievers in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Ms. Harkirat Kaur CEO of Hartek Foundation encouraged students to develop compassion and discipline, while SOE Ms. Principal Sunita Rani motivated them to actively participate and learn from such opportunities
























Hartek Foundation In collaboration with VisionSpring, organized eye-checkup camps across government schools in the Mohali block to support early identification of vision-related challenges among children. Prescription glasses were distributed to students across government schools in Mohali district, benefiting nearly 5,000 children and helping improve classroom participation, confidence, academic performance, and overall wellbeing.
By addressing vision issues at an early stage, the initiative aimed to reduce learning barriers and create equal opportunities for children to actively engage in their education.
