– DC Komal Mittal Inaugurates Initiative Piloted in Hoshiarpur, Applications Open for Mohali Graduates in July
Mohali, XX June 2026: Hartek Foundation, the CSR arm of the Hartek Group, today announced the launch of the ADAPT (Applied Data and Policy Transformation) Fellowship in Mohali, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal. The initiative aims to strengthen data-oriented capacities within the District Collector’s office, enabling more informed, data-driven governance and policy decisions.
The ADAPT Fellowship will place young professionals within the District Administration, where they will work closely with government departments on data collection, analysis and management to support evidence-based planning and service delivery. The programme will provide fellows with hands-on experience in public administration while helping departments build stronger data systems for day-to-day decision-making. Following a successful pilot in Hoshiarpur, the Fellowship is now being introduced in Mohali under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, reflecting Hartek Foundation’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity across Punjab.
Speaking on the launch, Harkirat Kaur, CEO, Hartek Foundation, said, “At Hartek Foundation, we believe that good governance increasingly depends on the ability to harness data effectively. We are glad to partner with DC Komal Mittal and the Mohali District Administration to bring the ADAPT Fellowship to the district, following its successful pilot in Hoshiarpur. This is a step towards creating a pipeline of young talent equipped to support district administrations in making informed, data-backed decisions.”
The Fellowship is open to graduates from relevant academic backgrounds, both with and without prior work experience, who are based in Mohali district and have an interest in data analysis and public policy. The application process for the Mohali cohort will commence in July 2026.
The initiative reflects the shared commitment of Hartek Foundation and the Mohali District Administration towards strengthening institutional capacity, advancing data governance, and creating meaningful career pathways for young graduates passionate about public policy and data analysis.
